About Your Child
What age can my child start?
Children can join Tune Tribe from age 7 onwards.
My child is a complete beginner. Can they join?
Yes. Your child does not need any previous singing experience. We start from the basics and place your child at the right level.
My child is shy or thinks they can’t sing. Can they still adapt to the classes?
Yes. Many children feel shy when they first start. We help them build confidence one class at a time while they learn how to use their voice.
My child’s voice sounds rough. Can they still learn to sing?
Yes. A rough voice does not mean your child cannot sing. We first look at how your child is using their voice and then use suitable exercises to help them improve.
What happens when my child’s voice starts changing?
Children’s voices can change as they grow. We adjust their training as their voice develops and make sure they use their voice comfortably.
Are the classes safe for children’s voices?
Yes. We teach children how to use their voices without squeezing or straining their vocal cords. We also use gentle exercises when they return to singing after a cold or cough.
Classes and Fees
How often are classes?
Classes are twice a week, with 8 classes each month. Each class lasts 1 hour.
What days and times are the classes?
Group classes run on Wednesday and Thursday or Friday and Saturday. Classes are available at 5 to 6 pm, 6 to 7 pm or 7 to 8 pm. Your vocal coach sets the days and time based on your child’s skill level. For solo classes, you and your vocal coach agree on the days and time that suit you.
How many children are in each group?
We have up to 15 students in each group. We intentionally keep our groups small so every child gets attention and guidance in class.
How can I pay?
You can pay online via GPay, credit card or debit card, or you can pay by cash.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. There are no hidden fees and no extra cost of any kind. What you see here is what you pay.
Can I get a refund?
You can request a full refund within 7 days of your child’s first class if you’re not satisfied after the first 2 classes.
Learning at Tune Tribe
How will I know if my child is improving?
We track your child’s progress throughout their training. Our vocal coach calls or texts you to discuss your child’s progress and tell you what they are working on.
How much should my child practise at home?
We tell you exactly how much to practise at home and which exercises to do. Then we also give your child practice tracks to help them practise the exercises they learn in class.
